Throughout the year there are a number of events that members can participate in. Members Day Member’s Day is an annual event that jump starts the sailing and cruising season, typically held on a Friday evening, early in June, at 1800 hrs. A reception is held in the clubhouse where a casual light meal is enjoyed while listening to a few remarks made by the Commodore. Our Fleet Chaplain then blesses the fleet and often we hear of cruise details from the Fleet Captain. Soon after there is a ceremonial firing of the canon and then it is out on the boats for the formal sail past at 1930 hrs. All members are welcome and even if you do not own your own boat, identify yourself to the Commodore and arrangements can be made to get you out on the water.
